IR-20M single beam photoelectric detector is active infrared photocell sensor.Install each pair at the opposite positions.Then there is a infrared area between these two detector parts. When someone passes the infrared region, the detector will send alarm signal to the security alarm host (which not included here). Install Distance(Max.)in the above chart means the maximum install distance between the two detector parts. Great to be installed for security system in school, office building, hosipital, home yard, etc. Detecting range can be reduced  in bad weather conditions, like rain, dust, etc.English Usage Manual included in the pack. IR-20M  Single Beam Photoelectric Detector  is composed of two parts, the transmitting and receiving devices. The infrared transmitter drives the infrared light emitting diode to emit a modulated infrared beam. Place an infrared receiver at a distance from the infrared transmitter. It receives the infrared radiation energy emitted by the transmitting end through the phototransistor and converts it into an electrical signal through photoelectric conversion. This electrical signal is sent to the alarm controller circuit after proper processing.Optical systems that are placed on the receiving and transmitting ends are generally optical lenses. It acts to concentrate the infrared light into a thin parallel beam, so that the energy of the infrared light can be transmitted centrally. The infrared light tube is placed at the focus of the optical lens at the beginning, and the photo transistor is placed at the focus of the optical lens at the end.

• Avoid facing strong sunlight, car headlights, etc when intall the IR-20D Photoelectric Beam Sensor
• Avoid reflections from the transmitter of photoelectric Beam Sensor  or receiver of photoelectric Beam Sensor;
•  Do not install the photoelectric Beam Sensor on an unstable surface.
• Consider the seasonal changes, do not install in places where the beam may be blocked by leaves or plants.
• Do not install the photoelectric beam snesor in places that may be bombarded by dirty water or directly splashed by the waves
