Project Background:

In a large industrial park, the client sought an intelligent access control solution to enhance security and efficiency at the entry and exit points. The client required a system that could strictly verify and control both personnel and vehicle access, while also ensuring real-time detection of vehicles within the checkpoint area to prevent misoperations and unauthorized hold-ups. To address these needs, the client selected a 125K Reader Two Channel Access Control System consisting of the following components:

  1. Barrier Gate
  2. Loop Detector
  3. 125K Reader
  4. Two Door Access Controller
  5. Infrared Photocell

System Composition and Working Principle:

  1. Barrier Gate:

    • The automatic barrier gate is used to control vehicle access. The barrier gate automatically raises or lowers based on control signals, ensuring that only authorized vehicles can pass, thereby enhancing the security of the park.
    • The gate operates in coordination with other system components to control access effectively, ensuring that the gate is only opened for vehicles with proper authorization.
  2. Loop Detector:

    • The loop detector is installed on the driveway to detect the presence of incoming or outgoing vehicles. Each authorized individual carries a unique 125K card, which communicates with the access controller for authentication. Once the identity is verified, the corresponding door is automatically unlocked, allowing the individual to pass.
    • The reader operates with high efficiency, ensuring that authorized personnel can quickly and easily gain access without delays.
  4. Two Door Access Controller:

    • The two-door access controller manages the security of both entry and exit doors. It coordinates the operation of the doors based on the access permissions and ensures that vehicle and pedestrian flow is managed efficiently and securely.
    • The controller works in real-time with the card reader, infrared sensors, and loop detectors to manage door operations based on the predefined logic, ensuring smooth and secure access for all users.
  5. Infrared Photocell:

    • The infrared photocell sensor is used to monitor the access control area in real-time. This sensor is especially useful for detecting vehicles passing through the gate, ensuring that no obstacles or unauthorized persons remain within the gate area.
    • If the sensor detects an obstruction or a person lingering in the area, it immediately sends a signal to the system to prevent the barrier from closing, thereby ensuring safety.

System Performance:

  • Vehicle Management: Through the cooperation of the loop detector and barrier gate, the system ensures that only authorized vehicles can pass while preventing vehicles from being unintentionally stuck in the checkpoint area, reducing misoperation.
