How to get the APP?
1. If your phone is Android system please scan below QR Code.
2. If your phone is iOS system, please search "GL Control" in app store.
Sofeware Operation and Detail Interpretation
After installing the APP, open the phone Buletooth, Enter the APP, click "Radar Entry", Allow location authoriztion, As shown below,
Adding device
Click the "New Devixe", and Choose the radar sensor device withing 5 meter to the phone, input the initial passward "12345678" then cilck "Add Device"
Change Device Password and Name
If you need to name each device or change the link password for each device, you can do so as follows
RVP42-9BW invalid Settings on Mobile APP
The functions selected in the blue box in the picture are specially designed for another type of sensor in the street lamp project. The sensor used in the street lamp project adds a networking module more than our conventional sensor. These functions are effective only after the networking module is added, and you need to configure them based on requirements. In our industrial door or logistics warehousing scenario, these functions can be ignored, because even if we set these parameters, the equipment will not have any performance changes because there is no networking module.
What RVP42-9BW can set is the basic function and depth function selected in the green box in the picture, which will be explained in detail in the following
Base Function Interface
Click "Base Func", input password "12345678", click "query" wait for 45 second, then it will shows the current parameter status of the device.
Test Level Selection
Click "Test Level", choose the level you need, click "Modify" to save
In order not to conflict with the other Settings, we only need to leave the default setting Standard 5 unchanged.
Level 1 refers to the detection of all objects, does not distinguish between pedestrians and vehicles, objects are moving at normal speed, the sensor can quickly detect, referring to the normal speed of human walking.
Level 2 also refers to the detection of all objects, does not distinguish between pedestrians and vehicles, objects moving at a slightly faster speed, the sensor can quickly detect
Level 3 refers to the detection of all objects, does not distinguish between pedestrians and vehicles, objects are moving at a fast speed, the sensor can quickly detect
Level 4 detects all objects, does not distinguish between pedestrians and vehicles, and quickly detects objects moving slowly.
Level 5-8 To distinguish between pedestrians and vehicles, speed levels refer to 1-4
For this part of the function, we suggest that it is best to keep the default Level 5. When we adjust this parameter to Level 7-8, it will be triggered incorrectly, because it conflicts with the detailed Settings later.
Installation High Selection
Click "Installation Height", choose the height you need, click "Modify" to save.
For example, if the sensor is physically installed at 5.5 meters but the installation height parameter is set to 5-6 meters, it might fail to detect low-moving cargo trolleys. To mitigate interference caused by metal, try adjusting the installation height parameter in the app to 6-7 meters or higher. This adjustment helps counteract the impact of metal interference on the sensor’s detection capabilities.
This functional module is primarily used to distinguish between pedestrians and vehicles. Since the sensor is designed primarily for industrial door application scenarios, its relay switching frequency is adapted based on standard and high-speed industrial door requirements. Other general application scenarios typically only require selecting the standard industrial door mode.
Wide Detection Area Setection
Click "Wide detection area" to choose open or close, click "Modify" to save.
Slow-Motion Detection Area Function
This function is generally not recommended for regular use. It is designed to prevent the sensor from failing to detect slow-moving vehicles when installed at heights exceeding 7 meters.
Anti-interference Function Selection
Click "Anti-interference func" to choose Active or Turn off, Click "Modify" to save.
The anti-interference function here primarily targets power supply interference. Some low-quality power supplies may emit ripple noise, which can interfere with the sensor’s operation. By default, this function is disabled. However, if the sensor is deployed in environments with nearby mobile power sources (e.g., cellular equipment), it is necessary to activate this anti-interference function.
Factory Setting
Input password "12345678", click "Entet", then it can restore factory setting.
